Hey guys - I read journal that she misses Splinter arts. ^^
And I was fed up with... with things (woa it often happens to me, huh? ^^' ) So I sketched these in 10 min when was on bus. Splinter has a kamon (family crest) on his gi what is an "anti-shredder" crest. XP (I know I know it is the Ninja Tribunal symbol and Splinter was even more "anti-tribunalist" but whatever...deal with it^^)
Eh..I wanna say things..but maybe some other time.
heehee! I was so suprised to see my name in your artists comments! XD! aww~ I really like these, and not only because it's Splinter! It makes me think of traditional Japanese prints, especially the ones from the Momoyama period, not so much the ones of the Edo period. I like the Kamon, that's a very nice touch The one where he's sitting on the right is my favourite I should draw him more too

Yaaa, Momoyama, yes, I see what you mean. (That one was still with the Chinese influence, right?) I don't think it would be like that though, but this comparison is REALLY flattering! ^/////^
Haha, I constantly forget to add kamons to the samurai gis though they are really proud of their family. but it's true that it was common mainly in Edo...I think. maybe I'm wrong. XD
Yeah - you, yourself should draw him to.

I might be wrong about the period, I'm not overly sure about the different periods in Japanese history. but it's what it reminded me of. *Gets to drawing* *^*
